Given there are 2 starting CBs, I wouldn't think that would be the reason. I would put my money on Kobee being tampered with $$$.

Technically speaking, Ponds was rated a bit higher coming out of high school than Minor. He has more college starts.
I actually was more encouraged by our other DBs in the game, namely Ferrell and Johnson, who look like they should get more playing time this year. Both highly rated.
