Not surprising, Broc Lowry has entered the portal. Figured he would go being the odd man out with Cherry seeming to solidly be in the 3 spot. Also entered so far is WR Derrick Bohler. Wonder who else we may see jump in.

U of I had few O and D Lineman hit the portal. Wondering what’s going on. One is from Wisconsin.

Holy crap. There must have 40 more additions to the portal in the last 3-4 hours.
“Can we get an action shot of you walking around randomly with your Beats and phone?” I don’t get it.
In some ways the portal is helpful…there is absolutely no shame in saying “I shot my shot but I’m not quite good enough but I still want to play”! Player goes where they are wanted/needed, program gets the scholarship back…no blood no foul, everybody wins.
Broc Lowry is a very good athlete, someone will be real happy to get that kid on campus.

Broc thanked both previous and current staff. Sort of a nice touch 'no hard feelings' approach.
I like the graphics and standard text. I don't find them overly dramatic. Rather simple really.
I didn't know much about Bohler. Hope he finds a good spot and gets to play.
Lowry I had some hopes for. But apparently didn't move up this spring. Hope he also finds a spot to play.

Both players were fighting an uphill battle for playing time with all the portal additions that Indiana was able to obtain this year.
Yep...and kudos to them for sticking around long enough to figure things out. Well wishes to them.
I wish them both the best at their new schools they choose. I wish coaches would have talked to Lowry about playing defense as he was a very good players in high school.

Dang, I hate losing anyone listed as OL , they have to learn the offense pretty well.

We were over the limit and CCC2.0 had mentioned wanting to add a safety and DL before fall so we were going to lose a few regardless of whether or not anyone wanted to leave.
That seems like a small list. Maybe a good sign?
I do not think IUWBB has had anyone enter the portal yet.
Has me wonder then if a few of these guys were urged to leave?

Blidi was apparently a surprise and possibly Howland. The others could easily have been pushed based on where they are in the depth chart.

A top-notch All-Sec DL from TCU has entered the portal. Damonic Williams, 6-2, 320lbs. has 2 yrs. eligibility left. He's originally from Mission Hills, Ca. so he may want to return home.
Newest entry is Anthony Miller, TE. So more room cleared up to go after positions of need.

He actually was voted an All-American in his freshman year! Only All-Sec in his sophomore year.
If you equate being cut from the team as being “urged to leave” then for some, the answer is unequivocally “Yes”
Or, they understand social media and modern marketing of their NIL image better than you do?

Darryl Minor, LB has entered the portal as of today. Not sure he saw much playing time since joining the team.
Per Twitter looks like Will Larkins plans to enter as well today.
