We need to keep an eye out on the weather for this series, especially the Sunday game since a weather system will be moving through the area and there will be a big temperature drop of between 20 to 25 degrees between the Saturday and Sunday game. Usually, you get really stormy weather at the leading edge of those fronts when you have a big temperature change like that. Based on the weather forecast right now, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a Saturday DH instead of the Sunday game.

Sunday: High of 59 degrees with showers and windy conditions developing in the afternoon. Chance of rain is 80 pct and winds SW at 20-30 mph.
Illinois lost 2 of 3 games on the road last weekend to a really bad Northwestern team.
Friday starter for IU will be RHP Seti Manase with an ERA of 1.52 in 23.2 IP.
Illinois will have RHP Riley Gowens on the mound with an ERA of 5.93 in 41 IP.
Saturday starter will be RHP Luke Sinnard with an ERA of 3.68 in 44 IP.
Illinois will have RHP Jake Swartz on the mound with an ERA of 4.29 in 21 IP.
