OG's Knick debut was as advertised. 17 pts 6 reb on 7/12 shooting, 3/6 from 3, was on Edwards the whole way. Completely changes dynamic of that team replacing volatile unfocused Barrett with versatile focused OG. Knicks now look one piece away.

So glad to see OG land in a major market on a team that knows what it is getting in him. The ball dominant duo of Brunson and Randle really requires a linking passer/screener and corner three specialist like OG, and his D fits Thibodeaux's scheme perfectly. Very exciting to see another of our guys rise to this level again.

I said on here a number of times that OG reminded me at IU of Len Bias, who I watched through every game of his college career. After his death and probably because of a few high profile national games (esp UNC his senior year) Bias was blown up as something monstrous and legendary, but he was a lot like OG, dry and soft spoken and quietly intense in his play. The two share nearly identical physiques and physical skill sets. Never mind that they are also kind of facial lookalikes as well.
