interesting article on toys and china and illustrative on the fantasy of moving manufacturing back to the states. with rising costs in china companies are just looking to india, mexico, etc. but the infrastructure attendant to manufacturing is lost on people like MAGA - it's truly just a talking point imo devoid of substance. admittedly i don't know anything about so many things manufactured like chips and digital stuff etc., but for consumer type products again it's fantasyland. i will also add i would lack the courage to post this save igw's absence.
