Evenly matched series, IU could have just as easily won 2 or all 3.
I’ve seldom seen baserunning as bad as I’ve seen this series.
Congrats Hoosiers!

I was watching the IU/Iowa womens basketball game and kept an eye on this game and didn't provide any updates from the 7th inning on since there was no scoring.

It looks like against major competition that IU has to get warmed up by losing the first two games of the series before getting things together to salvage the Sunday game. We went 2-4 against Auburn and Texas.

IU got 4 runs on 8 hits to Texas' 2 runs on 6 hits. IU had one error to two errors on the Longhorns.

All of the hits for IU were singles except for the 2 RBI double by Tibbetts.

Sinnard had a good start for IU going 5 IP, 5 hits, 2 runs both earned, 7 Ks, and no BBs.

Hellman and Kraft combined to go 4 IP with Kraft pitching the last three innings. Combined, they allowed just one hit and no runs, and one BB (Hellman).

We got good starts from all three starters in the series. Kraft rebounded from a bad 5th inning yesterday to a great closing three innings today.

The pitching looks promising going forward and Mathison finally got a hit today and maybe that will end his slump at the plate.

Another split … better than a sweep … good to see the crooked number

0 walks 12 SO needs to improve
