Hoosiers' pitching depth trending upward

Story from @Knickoson

I’ve had some interesting conversations about the college game this year, and the prevailing theme seems to be that it could be a very offensive year across the board for college baseball. That’s mostly due to the fact that lots of really good college arms have cycled thru the pandemic/draft and there’s not really a lot of high end starters across the board in college this year. The teams that have that high end pitching will emerge as some of the top teams in the country.

Good pitchers need to have command of the fastball and really good secondary stuff. Most importantly they have to compete in the zone at this level with that stuff.

I’ve said it before here regarding Hayden, the stuff is really good. Now he has to learn to locate and get swing and misses with his secondary stuff in the zone. If he figures that out, he will make himself a lot of money.
