She has struggled with epilepsy since she was 8. The past year, the seizures have become stronger, and more frequent. And the past month, she's had at least 7. Tried numerous medications, etc...to no avail. Last week she was approved for a device called VNS. It is implanted into the vagul nerve, and is supposed to control the seizures. She's having this surgery this Friday @ 7 am, @ Jewish Hospital.
Prayers for a good, clean procedure, and even more so, it renders her seizure free.
She's such a good person my friends. A wonderful wife. Couldn't imagine a life without her. She deserves this.
