I live in Ohio. 2 years ago, I went to watch Gabe vs my kids HS team. I got there early to check out the new IU commit and was absolutely smitten after about 10 minutes of watching pregame. The infatuation grew throughout the game, as the intangibles this kid had were just plain evident. I posted about it here that night. My local IU friends have had to hear about him since, my wife tells me often to give it a rest and my late father couldn’t wait to lay eyes on the kid after my description of his play. Yes, I now sound very weird. But I just knew he was the perfect Hoosier. I got in a pretty heated back and forth with someone on here over the summer regarding Gabe’s PT this year. I just knew Woody would fall in love and he wouldn’t be able to keep the kid off the court. Good times are ahead watching this kid grow!
