Yea, can put up big stats vs good competition for the NFL scouts at IU.
Whether we get him or not, it's great to hear positive vibes regarding Indiana's coaching staff from a 5* QB. Others will be interested in visiting.
I hope he commits to IU soon to really pull in players to the IUFB program. If he doesn't come then so much for knowing Tino for so long. He should come to IU if he is a competitor and believes in our coaches.
Sounds like he’s making a complimentary statement but saying “I’ll pass”.
Which is ok. I’ll take that any day. IU has a pretty good QB room so far.
What a difference from last year! The kid from Ohio U is a proven veteran. Our incoming recruits seem to be promising. I'd like to see what a new staff can do to prepare Jackson. I;m hoping he has a good Spring and decides to stay.

There are more factors that go into what college a kid chooses than a long relationship with a coach. In this day and age, there is a good chance that $$$ is maybe THE factor for a recruit. As others have stated, the fact that the kid complemented the staff is huge for IU. IU is probably not the only school that he believes in the coaches and especially since this staff hasn't coached a single game yet at IU.
IUFB has had good pub this offseason with DeBoer and other IU coaches going to Alabama along with coach Cignetti coming to IU.

Even if we miss with him, we are taking a legit shot. We’ll only land one in 10 or 20 of the elite recruits, but it seems like we can now make legitimate attempts to land them. It will eventually lead to commits if we stick with it, and I’m sure CCC and staff know this and will. Good stuff.
