How IU develops its players
This teams depth, the fringe 100 guys that are stacked deep on this roster.
Many have anxiety around this complete whiff in the summer 2023 recruiting, rightfully so… and expecting a portal player to save the day is crazy… even X took time to round in to form (People seem to forget about Durr and Stewart) but if they haven’t developed the talent on the bench, then that’s the biggest concern in my eyes
Former top 150 players
Forwards -Reneau, Duncomb, Geronimo
Wings- Banks, Gunn, Bates
Guards - Leal, Galloway
even if Hood Schifino goes pro, you have 8 on the roster with multiple years in the system that are former top 150 caliber players. 3 seniors, 2 juniors, 3 sophomores
that alone should be enough to be a tournament team… but only if they’re ready
