John Adsit, the Denver police bicycle officer who was run over by a motorist last fall while Adsit was protecting high school kids demonstrating against the police, will throw out the first pitch at the Rockies home opener. Adsit was very very badly injured as he was dragged beneath the vehicle for some distance. He had many broken bones and internal injuries. 11 surgeries later and he is throwing out the first pitch. You might recall I posted about Officer Adsit at the time of his injuries.*
