Purdue shows the failure of the B10, with the most dominant player in the last several years, they could not win. At some point athleticism matters.
Yep athletic guards are a must. JHS showed that last year. Their guards were good enough for the B1G, but not against a team that could play Edey 1 on 1.

Purdue has won quite a few games where they shot 3 to 5 times as many free throws as the other team. They didn't get that last night. Even against TN they would have lost if not for big free throw advantage.

For the record, I just don't believe that one team commits that many more fouls than the other team... even if the advantage is for the team I am cheering for.
