I hope if they find this treasure and can trace any of it back to he rightful owners families they would do so.
I doubt there will be much treasure found. If all that was hidden away, it only makes sense to me that someone knew where it was, and wouldn't leave it there for such a long time. You'd think they'd have left some way to access it and spirit it out. Nazis were on the lamb and would need $$, so I'd think if it really was there, there have been folks visiting it over time and removed as much of it out as they could. Still it will be interesting to see if they've actually found anything. Here's a more expansive article:
