For instance, CAIR gets a significant amount of funding from the Saudis. Imagine if they got funding from Iran. Don't get me wrong, I agree with what you're getting at here. But I've thought for a long time that we just really aren't prepared to get tough with the real sources of Islamic extremism.

I was heartened when GWB drew a line in the sand for governments in Muslim regions....and let down when it became quite apparent that he didn't really mean it.
