Young Big Ten Coaches

The Big Ten has really elevated itself the last 2-3 years with some great young hires.

PJ Fleck wins a bowl game big tonight and has a solid recruiting class coming in.

Brohm has obviously been terrific so far. Unbelievable what he’s done.

Frost has a top 20 class coming to Nebraska.

Then you have the big boys of the conference too. IMO the Big Ten is set up to be the 2nd best conference for quite some time.

And why is this post on the basketball forum?

And yet people wonder why there is an Iowa basketball question on this board.

Back to the topic. What about Indiana hiring an assistant coach with no P5 head coaching experience. Priceless.

Big time gamble

I guess for me, the point is that it shows that IU is not the only place that an assistant is elevated to head coach. What is there, maybe 3-5 coaches in the country that don't take the call or at least listen to OSU?

You mean like Kevin Wilson?
