Have a trip planned for end of May - looking for any pointers but specifically about getting around inside the park. I’ve read mixed reviews on how available & busy the park run busses can be, but also that finding parking spots is a nightmare. We are staying at the Ahwahnee so will not have to drive in everyday…

I've been once during that same time frame but it was 2011. The Valley was crowded then, but from what I've read, it's ridiculously busy now. We stayed at Curry village and walked everywhere. Parking and traffic was a nightmare then also.

My only suggestion is if you aren't willing or able to walk, allow for extra time due to the busses being packed and traffic in the valley being bad.
