Several weeks ago, there were rumors that Woody and one of his assistants had a physical altercation after a loss...I'm betting it was Yasir. Watching Woody refuse to change his offense up until recently, and Woody relying on his NBA guys, no doubt led to a lot of tension, which led one of his assistants to allegedly yell at Woody "This is why you're getting fired."

This is pretty interesting...

That is interesting if accurate. Allegedly Yasir's only loss before last night was a very competitive game at Purdue. His only scout losses this year were very competitive road games in conference.

Makes you wonder if he might be worth keeping around for the new coach.

Meanwhile, you might wonder who would ever hire Kenya Hunter again. He's assisted two coaches straight to unemployment or retirement, and both got fired at least in part because of recruiting failures, which is supposed to be his best ability.

At least 3 coaches. He was at Nebraska with Miles before that.

I’m sure they’re pretty close at this point. And Yasir’s job is tied to Woodsons job. If Woodson is fired, so is Yasir most likely. Someone in the room is bound to see all these obvious things that are off with the program. If the game scout record is accurate, it appears Ya might know what he’s seeing and talking about fairly well.

I haven’t heard any announcement that Ya is resigning. Only Woodson. Now of course the new coach will almost certainly bring in his own guys but it’s possible some of the staff might be retained.

Please, no. New coach must bring his guys in or they arent serious. JMHO and didnt IU lose to UCLA? Yet there is a W when it should be L.

That's true about UCLA, although it was a Kenya game, not a Yasir game, so maybe it doesn't matter for our point.
