Would you endorse a rule that says no contact (blocking or tackling) below the waist . . .

GREAT Class!! .... Woolsey, Hedges, Matthews, Ballard, "Whitey" George and all!!....I did know several in your class.... my sister and B-in-law were '68..... I went to every Fball & Bball game from the day NHS opened in Sept. '63 until I graduated in '71..... I idolized those guy! And, I had that 6th grader crush on the cheerleaders, Tami Lane and Lori Sands... ;)
Washington won State in '65.
The guys you mentioned were all classmates of the Champs. They would have been on that team as depth.

Woolsey was/is a great story teller...
Would see him occasionally at Rick's Boatyard...but it's been a while..moved out of Marion County and haven't looked back.

A few years ago there was a story in, I think, The Star about the bball courts at Meadowood Park in Speedway. Obviously it talked about McGinnis, Mount, Keller, Dampier, Downing, the Price brothers from Tech, Speedway's Johnny Allen and Tommy Gilbert and all the other greats who were regulars there.

But, the story was centered on Steve Woolsey as much as any of them with several quotes from him.
I'd go over to watch on occasion.. .no way I could get on a court with the guys who'd show up!!

The best of the best from all over Indy and the area!
