People here believe they can’t live a normal life with COVID because that is what Biden and the idiot wing of our political leadership tells them. What does this mean, if you were vaxxed Smallpox was no problem. Period, full stop. Yet we did not contend ourselves with, "I am safe, tough luck for everyone else".

I can see why you think that. It is on me. I was sarcastically suggesting the opposite, your kin probably had those vaccines so what has changed. Why are smallpox, polio, MMR, and tetanus good vaccines and COVID a bad vaccine. Our ancestors saw a value in those other vaccines, it is how we got to herd immunity. And testing on smallpox vaccine sucked, COVID is far better tested.

Small pox and polio and tetanus had been killing people for centuries. There are well-known, highly identifiable symptoms associated with each of those, and the vaccines were seen as medical miracles. The opposition back then wasn't as widespread, but it existed. Thanks, illiteracy!
