Did anyone notice that during last night's OSU game, Fox didn't even mention anyone on IU when they were promoting the IU vs Iowa women's game on Fox next week? It was all about promoting Caitlin Clarke. Did they not realize that IU also has an all-american on their team as well?
Well, CC has established herself as a national figure, so it might bring in viewers who have seen her play, and also the folks who know the name, have seen the commercials but have probably never watched women's bball. She's worth the price of admission as a player, regardless if you like her theatrics. Talking about Mackenzie Holmes is only interesting to hard core women's and IU women's fans.
No, I get all that. Clarke is the big name in that game. Mackenzie isn't a household name, but Fox could've at least MENTIONED her.
Probably better to promote the entire rivalry between the two schools anyway.

Moren once made a joke about Syd and eyelashes and make up. Maybe she has other glamour deals.
My theory on the eyelashes is that they are actually calibrated gun sights. That's my theory & I'm sticking with it.
It really wasn't a joke. Coach Moren said this about Parrish:

I live in the south now, but wish I could go to games. Hope those close do attend.
Attendance has really increased the past few years. The main level is quite full and I think the Iowa game is close to a sellout.
I think we are second in the big in attendance at about 8700 per game. Iowa is first at 14,000. I think that is all from Clark. To me, she is too whinny and I think more me oriented than team.
But there is no denying her skill on the court and her ability to carry a team. I think her NIL has long since cleared 1M per year.
Iowa is a sell out in Bloomington. They will be a tough out in their home arena.
Yep. There were a fair amount of fans in the balconies for Illinois. Pretty much any B1G game is going to get 12,000 give or take. Iowa is already a sellout. You can be pretty sure Purdue will be as well.
