So how the hell do you get two home games as a three seed? Back in the day the only way that happened is if you had a one seed.

Hard telling I assumed it was on the west coast from start time. I hate Wisconsin but that being said if I could switch IU with any other Big 10 team over last 20 yrs its Wiscy hands down. I watched Ill ugly mess . Davison is a punk but they over achieve vs what we have been treated to for most of 20-25 yrs.

I think Colgate can win but it's like they are at the kohl center.

When you think about it, Wisconsin is probably the most
“well-rounded” school in the conference when it comes to the 2 revenue generating sports.
Always good in football, very good. Always at the top or near the top in basketball. Incredible, incredible support for both sports. Rapid fans of both sports. Huge home court advantage at the Kohl Center and Camp Randall. Support from every corner of the state.

The crazy thing is they were the joke of the conference with NW in my youth

Very true and both sports were in the gutter at one time. Ever harder to turn a football program around imo. Wisconsin will likely still win tonight but I thought Colgate would be a tough out.

I live in Madison now-a-days, support for the "2 revenue generating sports" is really only the half of it. Bucky also generates athletic revenue from Hockey (6.1M in revenue). While Volleyball and Women's Basketball have 6 figure revenue from ticket sales.

Here was a break

That's cool..I could never live in Madison myself. Way too liberal for me.

Looking at my bracket and I picked only one conference team to make the sweet 16, PU, and then I had them losing their third game. (Of course I had KY in the final, so what do I know)?

I suppose part of that is rooting against the B10, but part of that is also my lack of respect.

It sounds like your bracket is similar to those of a lot of the "experts." There isn't a lot of respect for the B1G going around this year and, after the first round, I'm not sure many of the teams in the conference have earned it. I will still cheer for all of them. I hate them, but it's probably better for IU if they win.

Yeah, you are right. Big ten got 9 teams. That’s 25% of the at large bids. Just playing the numbers the Bshould be right there at the end, with a chance to win it all.

they were easy fades to me.

Michigan in the first round was the same team we played. They were annihilating us, and then we were destroying them. In the first round it was just reversed. They were down 15, down around 7 in the second half, then they hit a bunch of threes in a row.

thinking back, man things would be different around here had they not folded versus us!

Ive noticed a theme so far this tournament! Seems like most B10 teams(not IU) have been helped from officiating! Purdue, Illini, Wisconsin, Michigan, MSU all have been getting away with a lot more non-foul calls than that of their opponents! Illini especially! 4 of these teams shoulda/woulda/coulda easily lost their games!
