Excited for Rob entering his second year. He was a very pleasant surprise for less heralded freshman PG. With a year behind him, he knows what he needs to do and work on and seems to have the work ethic and personality to do it. Gonna be a very good 4 year player for us I believe. His shot mechanics looked good, so I'm hopeful he'll become a steady shooter from 3 and the FT line, which is awesome to have in your PG.

I was surprised Rob wasnt named a captain...and that the other 2 guards, Al and Devonte, both were.

Good to read he is working hard too - I worried maybe he hadnt been when he didnt get the Captain label...

I think having a soph named a Captain would be pretty unusual. I'd say it's more likely with a PG, but still, I don't think many sophs in my experience are ever named captains. I don't see it as a slight or indication of any issue other than just lacking experience at this level.
