First, this collective group of BIG coaches is very impressive. They are smart, well-spoken, and represent the BIG well. Wilson did a very good job, and he was noticeably excited about the team.
Mentioned Ricky Jones as emerging at WR (finally healthy). Chase Dutra is the leader of the secondary, by far. He believes the last recruiting class was the most talented. Says strength of the team is up front, but need to work on the skill positions. Says the new guys are going to need to step up. Matt asked the question on the new guys (Majette, James) moving over to secondary - Wilson said it is a possibility. Pumped about the cohesiveness of the team (mentioned the ability to keep the Harris injury quiet for the last 6 weeks). Talked about how the defense stepped up in the last 4 games with being competitive - despite no passing attack.
Nothing earth shattering and about what we expected. It is interesting to hear the people asking questions. If I recall, only two legacy print journalists asked questions (Ft. Wayne and Chi. Trib.) and didn't hear an Indy Star questioner. Interesting how the new media has taken hold.
