Keep an eye on Maryland without an AD. Their alumni, led by Len Elmore, are advocating with hiring a new coach with ties to the Terps. Not many candidates. But one who has his hand up is Steve Blake that we all remember. Coaching resume is thin and it’s all NBA.
I see a familiar pattern.

Maryland went with Buzz.
I personally like Buzz and would have been happy with him at IU. Apparently many on this site don’t think highly of him. Fair enough.
But now we get a chance to see his coaching more closely. In my opinion, if he gets just a bit more talent to join him than he was able to do at VT and aTm, it may not be a match-up we enjoy.
