Um. Those days have been here for a long time. Even BK didn’t get them all. CAM seems to hav Ed one a better job than Crean, but we still missed Brooks. Can’t get them all, but we should try.

Our recruiting should concern even the blindest of fans. It’s a disaster. The on the court part is very encouraging. Kids seem to be buying in and improving. But the recruiting is a full on dumpster fire right now. It will ultimately be Archie’s downfall if he doesn’t fix it.

Miller recruited Jackson-Davis and Brunk (who have started every game and are indispensable), Franklin (who has started nine games and has saved our butts in several of them), and Phinisee (who has started only four games, but I consider him indispensable too).

With those Miller recruits (and some leftovers from Crean), we're sitting 15-4 and tied for third in the Big Ten.

So, which of Miller's recruits would you get rid of?

Again the last two Mr Basketballs and full panic about a class not even seniors yet! Why don"t we let them decide before getting our panties in a wad. It seems that Brooks is the only kid we put a lot into that we did not get. Missing Henry has proved to be a mistake but I don't put much effort into recruiting him. If we strike out completely with the 2021 class I will have more concern and that does seem possible but I would bet unlikely.

You think Furst is an early entry NBA player? You've obviously never seen him play. He's going to have a hard time guarding B1G level fours, and he's just not big enough, yet, to guard fives. He's smart though and works hard, so he'll go as far as development will take him.

As far as being a pro prospect, he's light years away. He'll never have the physical abilities and would have to develop a much better skill set, especially on the perimeter. Most likely a four year guy.

Furst was at both the Virginia and MSU games at Mackey and saw two 29 point blowouts - does that help the Boilers? Not sure if it does but a close win for IU probably doesn't help IU either. My uneducated guess is that CF will end up at MSU with Goode or that he goes to Virginia.

As far as Kaufman goes, he does like Purdue, but he is the Devil's triangle for Boiler recruits.

Painter isn't even recruiting Lander as far as I know.
