Will Smith go pro?

Special Edition Go Pro that can't shoot anything but close-ups.

Would you please stop bashing Romeo and his historical low volume perimeter shooting.

I understand that he led our team in total shots even though he had one of the worst effective FG rates of our big minute players, was one of our worst interior shooters (even Smith had a better 2 point rate but more importantly he took shots away from Morgan and Davis who were superior at over 60%) along with one of our worst volume three point shooters in IU history (even worse than that lottery pick Verdell Jones) but your bashing of his struggles is uncalled for.

Smith Go Pro only shoots close-ups.
Romeo led IU in scoring as a Freshman with a broken hand, and will be a NBA Lottery pick.
Smith better get his degree.

You really need to cry somewhere else over your unrealistic expectations for an 18 year old kid.

Does the Romeo GoPro only take pictures of bricks?
Will his shoe be Air Romeo?
Did the NBA move the three point line to 5 feet?

Romeo led our team in shots and minutes by a lot, I would hope he'd lead us in scoring. Too bad because his empty shots should have gone to Morgan/Davis and Green/Durham...you know guys who actually could hit them.

At least Smith didn't take many three's vs continuing to fire up blanks, especially from 3.

Verdell Jones led the team in scoring too.

But continue to bash our players who still are on the team.

Awe...do stats upset you?

Am I being a big meanie to Romeo in the middle of a dumb Justin Smith bash fest?

I must have missed your protective posts for Green and Smith.

Smith can't shoot, period.
This is fact B1G teams had no respect for his shooting and did not even guard Smith from the perimeter. He needs to break his shot down and practice shooting every day until the start of next season.
Romeo played this season with a broken hand.
Why the jealousy toward Romeo?
Because he will be a millionaire soon, and is immensely more talented than others who will never be?

And yet he still shot more than anyone on the team. That's being a team player I guess.

FYI...he actually shot better after the Northwestern game when he says he hurt his thumb. Strange huh.

Hope the NBA buys it for his sake cuz if it turns out that he really can't shoot, as a shooting guard, there's not a lot of guys in the NBA with that skill set.

My only beef is because we had a shit season and he was a big part of it, and yet I'm still getting Romeo's greatness shoved down the throat while having to read those same guys bash on other players.

That's better than Smith's FT % around 50%.

Morgan and Davis we're over 60% on 2's.

They were the ones who should have gotten the majority of the interior shots.

Smith was basically a clean up guy, and that's what he basically did to his credit. He knew his role and yet he gets bashed.

Because he stepped out to the 3pt line and did not get guarded. Basically playing 4 against 5. He needs to plant homself around the bucket for rebounds and garbage buckets to help the
team.

When your highest volume interior shooter is actually your third best option....and your highest volume three point shooter is actually your fourth best option....

You have the season that we just had.

When your 2nd best talent has a serious health issue and can not play for the entire season. Your best player has a broken hand. Your PG has a severe concussion which sidelines him for 2 weeks and negatively affects his play until the last few games of the season. Your Senior grad transfer who is a career 43% 3pt shooter suddenly can not make any shots. Your best Senior can't make 3 pt shots or FT. You have the season IU had.

If recruits are visiting this board I hope they realize that the morons on it who are trolling current players are just simply morons. In fact I doubt that they are or ever were students

Absolutely, it was an offensively flawed team.

And you are right about Romeo and Juwan's less than 30% combined three point shooting. That's a lot of missed shots and worse yet scoring opportunities to the opponent.

We thought Romeo and Morgan we're going to compliment each other but they ended up getting in each other's way since the majority of their team leading shots came from the paint.

Now add Davis and or Smith...two other guys who can only score from five feet and in and that's a lot of volume from five feet and in.

Today's offensive game is basically three positions...a point, a post and shooters.

We had a great post offensively in Morgan and Davis.
We had intermittent point play with Rob and some Green.
We had a severely hampered shooting team with Green being the only guy, maybe Durham who could actually shoot.

Which is why when Green was hitting threes, or someone was hitting threes, we tended to win including at MSU.

We didn't need to take and hit a lot of three's, just needed to space the floor a bit to allow some movement in the paint.

Morgan and Romeo (and Davis and Smith) basically ended up being like Zeller trying to drive against the Syracuse zone.

And Romeo was one of the reasons for that.
