There has been a ton of discussion about it but we are going to find out at 8 pm
Been a tight lid on it. I know they wanted a guy to emerge quicker but that didn’t happen. No matter what, both will play.
I'd be satisfied if it was Dexter Williams to tell you the truth.

Here is my optimistic view.
we know CB is more than a serviceable QB. If JT beat him out it speaks volumes about his progression and leadership in the locker room.

CB. JT was the only guy that believed he had a chance at the starting job. If JT was their guy, CB isn’t brought in. It’s so simple. I’d be interested in finding out how many transfer Qb’s DONT start at their new school. Guessing it’s a very small percentage. It makes for good message board convo though.
Get that...unless CB coming in has fired up JT big time. That is my optimistic view of either choice, because we know CB is more than just a seriveable QB

If they start CB then they believe he is better and that’s why the brought him in. If they start JT it’s because he performed better throughout practices. It’s a much better scenario than “who is least likely to hurt us” that I have watched too many times. Whoever starts, unless it is a perfect game won 63-0, tomorrow QB2 will be everyone’s favorite player.

Well for one JT transferred in and has never won the job and only started due to injury (that could change tonight). JT Daniels transferred to Georgia from USC and was 4th string until Newman opted out, Mathis played terrible and was replaced by Stetson Bennett who was eventually replaced by Daniels.
It happens. I much rather the staff promote a healthy QB competition than simply rewarding a guy because he transferred.
Bazelak I think is now a lock.
If I am wrong then kudos to JT for his efforts. But I do think he’ll be one of the better back up QBs in the B10.

We will find out tonight around KO. As long as we have good QB play I don't care who the starter is.

If so, he better have improved a lot since Spring practice after what coach Bell said about his short coming. As hard as Tuttle put in it is sad he isn't starting.
