I thought it was telling on the Big Ten show that Wilson was saying we need Jerome Johnson and Allen Stallings to step up to make that top 10, which seems to mean Barwick, Memminger, Dougherty, Beldon, and Stringer are being looked over.
Last year we couldn't afford injuries in the secondary and that's exactly what we got. We were starting two true freshman in the secondary from game 1 and the result was a pass defense ranked last in the Big Ten. It'd be nice if something similar didn't happen with our defensive line this year.
