Like your starting 5 and that would make a pretty complete team. On your second team, I'd definitely sub Alford for Skiles. And, while I don't know what his overall stats were, Shawn Kemp was a man among boys and probably pretty similar to Big Mac, just 20 years later. Wonder where Clyde Lovelette's HS stats would place him? Great size at a time when players were smaller. Guessing he gets left out of conversations because he ended up playing at Kansas.

Eric Gordon has to be on the list. He was a top two recruit nationally coming out of high school.

As high school players only.
Just HS
C. Greg Oden
F. Shawn Kemp
F. George McGinnis

All were either National Player of the year or arguably in the conversation. Shawn Kemp is the most athletically talented Indiana HS player I have ever watched in person.

In how many states would you come up with a list like this and leave off Larry Bird? Not sure if that was intentional, but I do seem to remember he was 4th in Mr Bball voting his senior year and I don't think has a very high career scoring mark. What about Deshaun Thomas and Marion Pierce? 2 of the top 3 scorers not on this list either!

Matt Waddell was also a phenomenal high school player.

Of all the guys I saw play while they were in high school, Junior Bridgeman turned out to be the best pro.

Jay Edwards was one of the best clutch scorers I ever saw in Indiana high school basketball. I don't think I ever saw him miss a clutch shot to tie or win a game in his HS career.

I see no one has mentioned Clyde Lovellette yet he won an NCAA championship and 3 NBA championships and Kansas retired his jersey. But he lost in the State finals.
