I am not sure that the majority of participants on this forum realize that successful, established, quality coaches do not want any part of Indiana men's basketball. There is no upside to them. We keep talking getting one of these well respected A1 blue chip coaches and I don't see that. Our next success story will need to come from someone who is up and coming and possesses what his players will need to also play with...wanting to prove something...a sense of urgency...essence of the team concept...a New brand of IU basketball. Frankly we haven't played with the fire that needs to be there to be a successful team. There is a coach out there who can fill this void but I feel it will not be a "Big Name" coach.
Where is our fire...no pun...is it a new coach?
