The 4-0 was legit.
We didn't play world-beaters.
We aren't world-beaters.
But we competed and beat the other team on the field.

The "crimson goggles" "dream season" is over - we didn't turn the "almost beat Ahia State" into "we won at Penn State".
So what?

Did we "peak" yet? Are we still getting better?

We still have a LOT to play for - and we can still keep getting better - and keep the rebuild alive.
And we need to.

We are better.
We are not yet there.
We have upgraded our 2 deep.
That's all.
Our margin of error is still small - a starting QB down can mean a loss, a starting RB down can mean a loss.
We need recruiting - guys who will come and stay and fight with their brothers.

Can we do that if we start the league 0-6?
Nope.
The Michigan State-Iowa-Michigan triple-play is looking tougher than expected.

So that makes Rutgers a huge game.
Time to prove we are really getting better.
Time to fight for it.

5-2 keeps the rebuild going - keeps recruiting ball in the air (which is THE most important thing) keeps us improving.

At our best, we are competitive with anybody.

We got a fight coming
Get ready

Beat Rutgers.
