When is the last time IU won 5 Fball games in a row???*

I should modify that. They started the 1988 season 5-0-1, with the tie coming to Missouri, 28-28, in the second game. Before that, I think the only time it was done in modern times was the 1967 Rose Bowl team, which started 8-0. Even the 1945 team that finished 9-0-1 tied its second game.

BTN just said it was 1987
No, they lost their second game in 1987.

I remember those teams from the 1980s and thought they were decent, not in position to challenge for a national title or anything, but good, solid, competitive teams. But in looking back at who they beat and the schedules they played, it really was the golden era of IU football.

Think he meant BTN said the last time IU won five in a row was 1987, not that IU started off 5-0.

Was this the UM game that Bo sobbed and cried about the noise levels?
