Pretty clear that almost everyone here thinks we will lose to Duke (and some here are rooting for that to hasten the firing of CTC). No surprise that we might lose. Duke is a top 5 program and team and they are playing at home where they basically never lose (especially non-confierence). If we lose, the narrative will be (a) the board blows up with negativity and (b) IMHO little or no effect on our overall season--will not negatively affect NCAA tourney chances or seeding.

But what if we win? What will the reaction be on this board? Happiness? Regret? More optimism?

A win would have a very positive impact on our NCAA chances and on our seeding in the NCAA. It could positively impact the players with increased confidence. Or it could negatively impact the players by lulling them into a false sense of security/confidence despite the real issues we have with the fundamenals of defense and ball security.

Well, now that the season has gotten IU to the position of BiG champion, perhaps you have your answer.
