I doubt Green and Newkirk are the Basketball Stars at the Basketball Tournament.

What is it?
It's a 64 team winner take all tournament that's been going on every summer for the last 7 or 8 years. It's actually really good hoops to watch. Lose and you go home with nothing, so they get after it.
He's never played in it before, so not sure he cares one way or the other.

Hulls would be better. But Newkirk is no slouch. And I imagine he has gotten better playing overseas.

He's been home nearly every summer. I assume he's never played because he has other things to do that take precedence like camps and his charity work. TBT is full of guys who play overseas in various leagues.

I think he played with Remy Abel. Can’t recall the other team members. They made it to the final game and lost. Two years ago I think.
Yep. Role player. He did hit nearly 50% of his 3pt shots for us. He only took like 1 a game tho…
