My brother drove down there today to pick up my niece. 37 aka 69 was clear all the way. They moved all the crap off the road!Said you better find a new route to Bloomington if you want to make the Virginia game in time ....

INDOT volunteered to open the road for the holiday weekend. They will continue the paving during the week and open it back up for game day. Not too sure Fred forced anyone into anything though. There's something we can all thank Fred Glass for: He had the Governor intercede with INDOT to force them to clear 37 on game days...
Pretty sad (on INDOT's part) that it had to go that far... Not at all surprising though.

So was the clip posted of the post game locker room speech from Allen! Very moving, positive and will have you believing in #LEO!Thanks!
Worth the listen...
It's been a crap-shoot day-to-day and hour-to-hour the last few months. Friday afternoon was living hell southbound. Like a parking lot in stretches. With a night game Saturday traffic should be spread out enough that it will be no problem. But it is essential that both lanes be open (and both lanes able to carry full traffic) both ways for those afternoon games when so many are coming in and leaving at the same time.37 was great today. Very surprised.
Ok. I don’t get the Star.Attempted to link it but it had a paywall block but there's an article in the Indianapolis Star that says he did exactly that (dated 8/29/18).
I don't have any love for the leadership of INDOT but I sure wouldn't bother to make something up about them.
Now "this" particular weekend has to do with the holiday (that I will acknowledge)...
Really. They have already announced that both lanes both ways will be open for the fb game days. The traffic will move as fast as they can get people into and out of the parking lots which is usually the bottlenecks. It's been a crap-shoot day-to-day and hour-to-hour the last few months.
