That was a helluva effort from our Hoosiers. Very proud of the players and coaches.

this could be a sleeping baby giant of a program. Great campus, decent facilities, in middle America where the potential to develop a rabid fan base clearly exists. the events of today can only help recruiting and the results at the end of this season...if things continue like this...wont hurt either.
we all know that Basketball is king in Indiana....probably always will be...but allow me a short example.
up here in NWI we used to be all about basketball. Valpo, EC, Andrean, Lake Central and a few others would regularly appear downstate. those schools still do have very good basketball programs (although not as good as they would like) but have all upped their football programs over the years to the point where in NWI at least...theres more intrest in the football programs than basketball anymore (well not in EC yet but you get the picture.)
there is no reason Football cant become at least as successful as the basketball program has been recently.
