Doesn't mean we can't lose but it does mean (to me anyway) that we're expected to have a better than average shot at winning.

Great opportunity to show the country that we're for real (common opponent with ND)...

I expect a real dogfight from them. They scheme well on offense and are tenacious on defense... Should be a great Big Ten tune up...

I like that we are playing a game this coming Saturday versus M$U having a bye. I think we'll end up being sharper. Hope that's how it turns out...

Ball State being a tough W will just make us better over the long haul (IMO)...

You have to love that they played ND close. Although obviously ND was the far better team, it was a classic let down game for them after the Michigan game.

Should prevent anyone from overlooking them though. We can’t afford any setbacks this year. Really excited about this team!

Ball State out gained Norte Dame on the ground, 169 rushing yards to 117 (at ND!)*

I hope that turns out to be accurate.

I just know Ball State usually plays us tough and looked pretty good at times up at ND.

They have flaws but for the most part play good team ball.

If we screw around and don't take care of business, start to finish, they're good enough to cause us real problems.

Couldn't agree more. This should be a win, but won't be if we don't show up ready for a dogfight.
