Even with that poor protection, if Evans catches the snap at end of first half, then doesn’t have a shitty punt to start the 2nd half with shitty coverage for a return Td, it’s a 14-7 game. IU could then run the ball. IU D has played well. Only gave up 14 so far. Way to go punt team!!

I just wish someone would literally kick the living shit out of Day for running up the score on that last possession there! Basically a **** you to all of us IU fans! If WW3 were started, I hope ground zero is the Shoe!
I’m pretty sure IU had more than one chance to run up the score this season but ran the clock out instead. It’s called “class” — something OSU does not possess.
Yes, and I bet Cig goes after a duel threat QB in the portal. Teams like Michigan and OSU knew the best way to stop Rourke and the IU offense was put enormous pressure on Rourke, since he’s strictly a drop back QB. If IU had a Antwaan Randle El type QB today it’d be a different game. All season long I thought that could be our undoing on offense, by having an immobile QB.

Not down on the guys. Tough loss. Just a shame the running game looked fine but nothing else on offense. Seemed we could see that early... So I don't understand the calls, but much easier to sit and couch bitch after the fact.

I’m just upset that we didn’t play to our full potential. You don’t get these opportunities often. Big picture, I can’t be disappointed with the season and I don’t think you can assume we won’t still make the CFP either.
Absolutely. It’s disappointing but I was just hoping for 6 wins and a bowl at the start of the year. This has still been an unprecedented season. Never thought I see us with 10 wins in a season. Despite today, love Cig and what he’s done.

Ole Miss already lost to Florida. That’s loss number 3 for them. Minnesota looking good against Penn St, which if happens, is loss number 2 for Franklin. Need KU to wallop CU, making the Big 12 a one bid league.
They will stick with what I said before: 4 SEC teams and 4 Big Ten teams. I feel like the Michigan win was the playoff game for the. CFP. Ole. Miss was the threat. They are gone. Texas, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. That’s it.
Penn State losing would just make four bids look bad, because committee had them above us before today. And might still even if they lose, since we lost.
We absolutely deserve to make the CFP. We'll see if that matters.

You can't try to score, then go for 2 and and on side kick when the game is already over then complain the other team scored a TD after all that.
IU didn't get the 2 by faking the kick. If Day wants to run it up, then be a man about it.
For a moment I thought maybe that might be the better option in this game. Frankly, I just think if we had had a veteran duel threat QB, instead of Rourke, that would make us less vulnerable on offense. OSU and Michigan made us look one dimensional and the defense won the Michigan game and would’ve given us a punchers chance in this one if our special teams hadn’t made mistakes. Right now we have a playoff level defense, but not offense.
After the Michigan game I started to realize that our D was better, at least right now they are. Unfortunately, today they didn’t get the help they needed from the offense and special teams.
I thought UM and some other teams were making our D look a little better than it was. And we had a few drops against UM that hurt us. But man, KR and pass blocking today was a bummer. We’ll see if they can bounce back and hopefully we get lucky on the playoff.
