Kramer established himself as a key member of Northern Illinois’ defensive line in 2017. By 2020, his third season as a full-time starter, Kramer emerged as one of the nation’s best interior defenders.

The 6-foot-1, 290-pound Kramer finished the 2020 season with 17 tackles, three tackles for loss and a sack in six games. He ended the campaign with an 83.2 PFF College grade, which ranked 18th nationally among all qualifying defensive tackles. Kramer is particularly good against the run, ranking seventh nationally with an 89.1 grade.

How is that ranking determined when you consider differences in the level of opponents?
Oh, there is no way to sort that out. You have to assume that is metric driven according to the opponents they lined up with. I've never seen the metrics they utilize but unless there is something in there that can deviate the score based upon the ranking of the offensive linemen they're going against.......it seems like it would be hard to quantify. Then again, we are talking about DT rankings. ha
