Welcome James Monds !!!

Dont know you kid, but welcome.
Un asked for advice:
1. Take care of your body. NO fast food, do stretch, and weights.
2. Study, film room and school
3. Make correct decisions.
Good luck.

This is a great get. Kid has talent and keeps our FL pipeline strong. Welcome Mr. Mond!
Kind of small, a little lightweight, and not ranked highly at his position.

But man, what an offer sheet this young man has! Coaches must have seen something about him....maybe a diamond in the rough.

6’ 180 is somewhat prototypical size for a CB coming out of HS…all the top 10 CBs are around that size, give or take an inch and a couple pounds.

And #54 at his position is actually quite high. Schools take 2-3 CBs each class, if you’re getting 2 guys in the top 60 you’re right there with the rest of the top 25 schools in the nation.

A highly recruited and somewhat highly ranked kid, it’s a great commitment.

Good points and IU is developing a very good DB room top to bottom which should keep the defense improving.

Could see an analogy of "T. Mullen & R. Taylor" may have 2.0 version in "Trevell Mullen & J. Monds" in the future! (And BTW, I think there are a few rising RS FR who intend to have a say in playing time in the future too!) Like to see a few more DT/DE studs and think IU is on it's way!

Waiting on NoVertical’s assessment of the young man choosing IU over the Badgers. Always look forward to his thoughts on such matters.
