The Headliners: Nebraska at Ohio State; while Michigan battles for Little Brown Jug at Minnesota

The #1 Buckeyes (10-0 in B1G last year) are the top hope, as always, for the B1G slot in the College Football Playoff. Of course, the Huskers (3-6 in B1G in 2019) could throw a wrench into it all, with a big upset in Columbus. The Buckeyes travel to Penn State for Week 2, but likely all eyes are on the Huskers in Week 1?

Can't be in the stands, but their will be a watch party?

Until 2019, Minnesota (7-2 in B1G in '19) has had trouble in B1G openers throughout the last decade. QB Tanner Morgan has experience, while Jim Harbaugh (6-3 last year in B1G) welcomes his new QB for 2020 at Michigan!

Does the B1G East open 2-0 in the head lining cross-overs, or will we see the UPSET?

Friday, October 23rd, B1G West football kicks off for 2020, as the Illinois Fighting Illini (4-5 in B1G in 19) open at the Wisconsin Badgers (7-2 B1G in '19) in Week 1. We all know what happened last year in Champaign, but the Badgers still pulled off their fourth B1G West division title in six years, since the Legends & Leaders came to a halt. What will the tenth season of division football look like for the Big Ten? Who wins the West?

Can the Illini strike again over the #2 Badgers, who will have a new QB, new RB and new #1 WR for 2020?

Iowa has gone 4-5 to 5-4 to 6-3 over the past 3 seasons. Year 4 for OC Brian Ferentz, so can he follow the last two OCs at Iowa in fourth seasons?

Purdue was 3-6 last year in the Big Ten. They have the best WR duo in the Big Ten, but they have a B1G question at QB?

Both Maryland and Northwestern were 1-8 in 2019. The Wildcats host the Terps in Week 1. Pat Fitzgerald's Northwestern team won the 2018 B1G West with a 8-1 record, only to fall flat on their faces in 2019.

QB Peyton Ramsey transferred to Northwestern. Will getting a new QB make all the difference for the Wildcats in 2020?

Penn State (7-2 last year in B1G) at Indiana (5-4 last year in B1G) - the last two seasons, this has been a one possession game, with James Franklin's Nittany Lions taking home the "W" .... but, with Week 2, could this be an upset in the making in Bloomington?

Rutgers (0-9 the past two seasons in the Big Ten) at Michigan State, who were 7-2 in '17 to 5-4 in '18 and 4-5 in '19 in a Big Ten opener featuring the two new head coaches in the conference.

Michigan State Mel Tucker had one season at Colorado (5-7 overall), while Greg Schiano (68-67 from '01 to '11 at Rutgers) is back in New Brunswick.

Roll Penn State like a rabbit!!! That's for the hunters out there!!

That Nebraska watch "party" may be over kinda quick. Think Nebraska at IU '78, in the rain, kinda quick.
