Grabbed some late tickets this morning… threw my 8-year-old son in the car and drove a couple hours to the game… only to find out that StubHub is totally unreliable. After over an hour outside the arena, chasing down various customer service reps (my son was in tears, freaking AWFUL feeling), we finally got our tix and went in just as the 2nd half was going…
Figured another blowout was gonna be the icing on the sh*t cake (similar to last week at PSU)… then lo and behold! A 40-15 run?!?!? What team is this?!
The PSU and Maryland arenas are strikingly similar, but WOW that was a completely different vibe from our Hoosiers. Smiling players. Excitement. Energy. Night and day over two weekends. Kid had a blast.
We then got to cruise by the US Capitol (we’d never seen it) lit up by the sunset. Pretty cool ending to what started ROUGH.
