OL is terrible so far. Not impressed at all with the QB play.

I think Connor is doing fine for the situation he is in. O-line has been terrible. D-line not great either.

No he doesn’t. Timing will get better. Second half will tell us a lot.
Hes shown that can’t run out of a rush, cannot do a zone read. Multiple miscues, a few good throws. The OL is so bad that it’s hard to distinguish. Was hoping Shaun would make an impact, but he got wiped out early.
He‘s playing much better. OL is the issue for the most part. Cannot make a hole.
Are you serious? I agree on some but he’s thrown for 200 yards already with zero protection.
I think the pass blocking has been decent enough. There have been a few passes with a super clean pocket. I like that Bell is mixing up inside and outside runs and even a toss play. It’s not quite so one dimensional. It’s not working. But at least he’s mixing it up.
He looks small and has a line that can't create holes. He might be wondering what the hell he's doing here. It's been a slow start for him, but maybe he'll come around in time. That first hit on him had to be a rude awakening. Over at the church they call 'em bellringers

The Illini OL looked better than both PU‘s and PSU‘s last night.

So my question would be is Hiller that terrible or does he recruit the wrong type of players or is his blocking scheme just wrong or all three?
Granted, it was a fairly boring game, which was no doubt pretty taxing on Announcers. I have never cared for Brando - regardless the game.
A boring game? I'll show you a boring game...Iowa 31 - IU 3 at halftime last year. The only thing pretty taxing on the announcers was explaining the refereeing with their bad calls, reviews and poor microphone usage.
