Well, Hagen also has a Co-DC title (though Wommack has a full DC title). I think that 400k would put Hagen in the top half of the conference, 500k being about the high-end with the exception of OSU which was 750k

I don't think he's Co-DC now. I can see him being an Assistant DC, but not Co. 'Co' implies that he's an equal with someone else for the DC position - and he's not.
