watching Wisconsin for the 1st time

they have totally changed the way they play, pushing the ball and playing fast if Gard can change maybe we can hire a coach that will embrace modern basketball
There aren’t that many coaches old enough to remember running our resurrected old NBA offense so really have to try to hire someone else that could do it. We have the last practitioner of the ancient sets.

I'm in the process of transitioning my thoughts on Woody to the belief that he's willing to try various newer styles and philosophies, he's just not willing or capable of teaching or implementing them well. There are enough new things we're seeing with the defense and the offense, that there have to be efforts being made in practices to create more movement on offense, to improve the communication and rotations on defense. But I don't think he's capable of engraining these skills, habits, philosophies, etc... well enough to maximize the talents of his roster. And after 3 full years, and well in to the 4th...likely he never will be.

And then...the stubbornness that's in him, compels him to revert back to some of the 2000's Carmelo Anthony Knicks philosophies, because that is what he knows more than anything.

Bottom line is its boring ass basketball, and it is totally ineffective outside of assembly hall

This is what I have been saying for sometime now.
He did not upgrade his coaching staff to address this. Something I had hoped Dolson would demand.
