Reminds me of watching the high level FIBA passing game of Argentina when they were great. Beautiful offensive basketball. High skill passing and shooting game > athleticism.

Gonzaga is the #1 team and they just try to outscore you as does Iowa. Unathletic 3pt shooters generally stay 4 years. So these teams only have to reload with more shooters and a 7ft Big or wide body paint monster. Meanwhile in 4 years Archie still does not have the pure shooter. If Parker can make 3s play him immediately, he could be the difference between not making the NCAA Tournament and not. The college game has changed and IU needs to recruit shooters and post up Bigs than can also make shots.

I tend to agree with you on this. Whether it's college or the NBA, you have to be able to shoot the 3. The 3 pointer is the great equalizer. Archie either doesn't understand this or he can't identify/recruit players that can shoot.
