Want to gauge what some of the thinking on the board is about calling timeouts. In the second half, I would hoard my timeouts. I would like to go into the last five minutes of the game with all three of them.
In the first half, I would try to keep one for the last minute of the half.
I have seen teams get the ball with 30, 40 seconds left and not try to score. I would always try to score there (if it was a close game), and if you have a timeout, you can throw a couple of 15-and-outs and maybe get into field goal range.
