Low temperature (during the game) of 27 degrees (that's relatively warm). Steady 5 mph breeze from the west. Wind chill minimum of 22 (only an issue in the end zones and east stands and easily mitigated by a wind proof outer layer)...

Slight chance of snow during the game (35%) which means 65 % it doesn't snow...

Those numbers read like a balmy evening of Football if you're dressed even close to properly...

Math check

Accuweather Bloomington, IN has it even warmer (30 degrees throughout the game) with a WSW wind gusting to 7mph..., and a trace of snow possible (no accumulation)...

Still relatively balmy conditions for anyone properly attired...

What are PUs relative strengths? Passing or running? Sounds like the weather would not really affect either. Cold might affect Rourke’s thumb I suppose.

They've actually made decent plays in both phases... Their problem is that they're extremely erratic (along with not terribly bright [exhibit A: the idiot who didn't know were his own fields End Line was]...).

They're potentially dangerous on offense and do have talent at receiver, running back, and QB... Their OL is exponentially better since they dropped Sales from the OT rotation...

Their D is also erratic and appears to lack speed at LB, appearing to be vulnerable to plays on the edges... Their secondary looked okay at times against M$U... Their FS is a headhunting cheap shot artist who's toughest when a guy has his back turned to him but does have coverage range... The corners have looked good at times...

Their biggest weaknesses are discipline and coaching...

Walters is on the Hot Seat for good reason... I knew he was an idiot when he went after Sales as an answer at OT... 🤣

Their lack of discipline goes back to coaching...

The only guy who appears to know what he's doing up there is Simmons..., our backup WR's father... Their O is much better since he took over the OC duties...

They are dangerous simply because this is their Super Bowl...

Historically, as a program, they live to f up other teams great seasons...

Hopefully our guys clearly understand what kind of a--h-les they're dealing with and treat them accordingly...

Adverse weather conditions tend to level the playing field, whether it be due to rain, snow, wind, mud, cold, or playing under artificial lights. Let’s hope for the best-it’s all that we can do. May God grant us the serenity to carry on during this time of testing, should the “Spoilermakers” piss on our parade.

Prediction: If it turns into hurricane conditions with winds of 125 mph blowing 10 inches of rainfall sideways and IU only wins by 7-0, the committee will say they didn’t do enough to get in.

Who's BAM?

Personally, I think that would be a great thing to help us get ready for a playoff match up with Penn $tate or Notre Dame at their places...
BAM is a meteorological organization out of Greenwood Indiana. They’re rather big nationally now.

It’s what the committee is hoping for. Screw the school they don’t think belongs.
