Low temperature (during the game) of 27 degrees (that's relatively warm). Steady 5 mph breeze from the west. Wind chill minimum of 22 (only an issue in the end zones and east stands and easily mitigated by a wind proof outer layer)...

Slight chance of snow during the game (35%) which means 65 % it doesn't snow...

Those numbers read like a balmy evening of Football if you're dressed even close to properly...

Math check

What are PUs relative strengths? Passing or running? Sounds like the weather would not really affect either. Cold might affect Rourke’s thumb I suppose.

They've actually made decent plays in both phases... Their problem is that they're extremely erratic (along with not terribly bright [exhibit A: the idiot who didn't know were his own fields End Line was]...).

They're potentially dangerous on offense and do have talent at receiver, running back, and QB... Their OL is exponentially better since they dropped Sales from the OT rotation...

Their D is also erratic and appears to lack speed at LB, appearing to be vulnerable to plays on the edges... Their secondary looked okay at times against M$U... Their FS is a headhunting cheap shot artist who's toughest when a guy has his back turned to him but does have coverage range... The corners have looked good at times...

Their biggest weaknesses are discipline and coaching...

Walters is on the Hot Seat for good reason... I knew he was an fool when he went after Sales as an answer at OT... 🤣

Their lack of discipline goes back to coaching...

The only guy who appears to know what he's doing up there is Simmons..., our backup WR's father... Their O is much better since he took over the OC duties...

They are dangerous simply because this is their Super Bowl...

Historically, as a program, they live to f up other teams great seasons...

Hopefully our guys clearly understand what kind of a--h-les they're dealing with and treat them accordingly...

Adverse weather conditions tend to level the playing field, whether it be due to rain, snow, wind, mud, cold, or playing under artificial lights. Let’s hope for the best-it’s all that we can do. May God grant us the serenity to carry on during this time of testing, should the “Spoilermakers” piss on our parade.

BAM Weather guys acting like an inch or 2 isn’t out of the realm of possibility at all.

WTHR channel 13 (an Indianapolis TV station) just concurred with the BAM Forecast (who knows they may have just used it)...

They said 1-2 inches near Game Time...

A total Bucket Game experience! What a memory waiting to be had...!

To be there for a Bucket Win and to celebrate an 11 Win season will be spectacular!

Few things are more beautiful than light snow coming down under the lights... This is truly a rare opportunity to be experienced for an INDIANA Football Fan...

Bucket games are inherently memorable, but atmospheric elements being that they be and what’s at stake this year, perhaps never more so. At the end of the day, all one can say is “Piss on the f*cking Boilermakers!”

Their dangerous offense has scored 2+ TDs 3x in conference play. You related to Lou Holtz?

Not for this guy with North Carolina blood. I'm freezing my ass off up here since Thankasgiving.

I got my arctic coat ready to go, though.

Updated NOAA Forecast shows average game temperature of 28 degrees (throughout the entire game) with no real wind chill effect (winds stable at 2 mph during the game) and a 72% chance of .08 inches of snow falling during the game...

The snow should add an ultra cool natural "special" effect by coming down under the lights...

Basically it's as comfortable a cold weather game as anyone is ever going to get with cool effects to boot...

If Iowa can pack their place under worse conditions than ours, while having to watch their boring brand of FB, then our stadium should be packed.

Final Update (7:45am) from NOAA hourly graph:

The way I read that it looks like it will be about 29 degrees at Kickoff dropping to 27 thru most of the game with a max wind chill of 23 for only about an hour of it then stabilizing at 27 True temp. Looks like a max WSW wind at 5 mph to start, stabilizing at 2 mph thru most of the game... Still appears to be a now 87% chance of .08 inches of snow falling softly during the game...

That's still a Goldilocks formula for a beautiful evening of Football if you're dressed properly (with a rain gear (with a hood) final outer layer)...

The wind should be a non-factor in the passing and kicking game and if the players have learned how they need to layer to deal with game time temperatures during yesterday's practice things should go well for them too...

The best thing from our players perspective is that with this being in Bloomington they won't have to worry about being hit by an ice ball or a penny accompanyed by flaming toilet paper rolls thrown from the stands..., that's a W Laffy thang (correct spelling)...

Beat the toy train engineers with the (fake) largest drum and the pedophile mascot!!!

Go INDIANA!!!!!!! 🇺🇸
